For production, total quality control does not just relate to the hardware side, but also the software side. Before shipping the products manufactured in factories to customers, the products must be inspected to determine whether the products are up to standard. Product inspection normally involves the analysis of a variety of check points performed by specialized inspector who are certified by in-house standards. Since a lot of products are produced by each factory one after another, inspections must be performed cautiously and speedily in order to keep up with product shipping. The combination of these allows product manufacturing using high-mix low-volume production.
