About Light Amide Series

The Light Amide series is lubricants with higher heat resistance than ethylene bis stearamide (EBS).

In recent years, engineered plastics have gradually expanded with applications as materials used in place of metals in products such as automobile parts and electronic devices. However, engineered plastics have high-intensity and high heat resistance, thus adding load to molding devices with high melting temperature and viscosity, and problems have occurred due to insufficient surface accuracy on the molded products.

The following products are lubricants with superior heat resistance that can help resolve these problems.

Applications

  • Injection mold lubricants used for high temperature thermoplastics.
  • Injection mold lubricants used for high temperature filler-enhanced thermoplastics.
  • Pigment (dry color) dispersants for use in thermoplastics.
  • Lubricants and mold releasing agents for calendar processing of thermoplastics.
  • Nucleating agents for nylon and polypropylene.

Features

  • Improves the mold releasing effects when removing the thermoplastics from the die & mold.
  • Reduces the melting viscosity for thermoplastics, improving liquidity.
  • Significantly higher melting point compared to traditional lubricants. (WH-215, WH-255)
  • Reduce gum in extrusion molding.
  • Extremely low amount of smoke compared to EBS during high-temperature pressing or injection molding.
